The main perk of this feature is that you can customize your project and burn it right to the inserted disc. To record a data disc, you need to complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Files tab.

  2. Compose the project: use Tools panel to manage the content. Add files that you want to record, create folders to keep your files in order, rename files or folders, delete items if you’ve accidentally added something you don’t need to record, or clear project to delete all files (from your project, NOT from your Hard Drive) and start all over. If you want to record files from the existing image you must have one on your hard drive. Right-click on Project panel, press “Import” and choose the Image file. You’ll be able to add or delete files from the imported image.

  3. Insert the disc and check the available space on it. If Astroburn Lite doesn’t indicate that the disc is inserted — try refreshing devices. If there’s not enough free space on the disc or the disc is finalized you can use Erase disc to delete everything from it.

  4. Once you’ve completed the steps above, you need to manage a few more options: choose the Speed, check Verify (optional) and start burning.
